Who am I ?

Well that’s a bit of an existential question, but the short answer is I’m someone that loves to solve problems.

This means that I stay busy I started out in the arts then decided that a renaissance man should know technology and I’ve been a software architect for the lack of a better term for the past 10 years.

I’ve been a manager, an painter, director, animator, visual effects supervisor, and pipeline devloper , and musician on weekends.

My “Real name” is Guillermo Molina, but that guy values his privacy so in order to be open and share things I’d figured that William Windmill would serve us better…

The other thing is that I think we’re a little bit obsessed with individual contributions and merit, signing our names everywhere … yet it is a handy thing to track down useful contributions and that’s how we’ve been “tagging” things for hundreds of years yet it’s always bothered me that a few people painted the sixteen chapel yet we only remember the name of Michelangelo but then again if we’re open about it and realize that a single person can’t do all this thing and William Windmill is going to be the nome de plume of whoever’s in charge tha.

William Windmill is what I hope I can become over time, I have 5-10 good ideas that I’ve developed over the years working in the industry and I’m getting older so I decided to set some time aside to pursue these stories. Along the way share a few tricks and insights.

But to answer the question…what I am is a construction of what I’ve decided I was going to be.
